Yesterday, at the EU headquarters, among hundreds of EU-funded projects, the “EU4Youth – Unlocking the potential of young social entrepreneurs in Moldova and Ukraine” – in short, the EUnlocking project, won the Award for the category: “Excellence in advocacy and policy dialogue“.
The EUnlocking project not only went through crises (the pandemic and the war in Ukraine) but also achieved inspiring results and exceeded many indicators’ targets, especially its legal component that deserves the Award.
Let’s take this chance to review this component where the EUnlocking project has brought sustainable changes to the communities by impacting public policies in the two target countries.
- Major national conference backs recommendations on social entrepreneurship in Ukraine
- The international conference on ‘Best legal practices and support programmes for social entrepreneurs in Moldova and Ukraine’ in Kyiv on 12 May 2021.
- The EUnlocking project is making a sustainable impact in the Republic of Moldova – helping to unlock state subsidies for social entrepreneurs
The project is implemented by the Gustav-Stresemann-Institut (e.V) (GSI) – lead organisation (Germany), AXA Management Consulting (Moldova), ECO-RAZENI Association (Moldova), Egalite International (Ukraine), National Assistance and Information Centre for NGOs in Moldova CONTACT (Moldova) and Pro NGO! e.V. (Germany). The project is co-funded by the European Union under its EU4Youth Programme.
Visible Impact has partnered with GSI to conduct several project components.
